Home & Willow Design and Decor is an interior design firm based in Fishers, Indiana. After completing an expansion of its 5,000 sq. ft. showroom inside the Hub & Spoke design center, the team needed a way to bring the in-person experience online. The space features custom home furnishings and consultation areas designed to give clients a curated, inspirational design experience. Home & Willow partnered with Alpha Sky Media to create a drone tour video that would attract new visitors, support digital marketing, and boost online engagement.
Objectives
The goal was to create an immersive visual experience that reflected the brand's design aesthetic while giving potential clients a complete look at the showroom from anywhere. The video needed to support website content, social media marketing, and remote consultations while strengthening brand perception with both residential and commercial audiences.
Production Approach
Pre-Production: We visited the showroom to map the layout and identify key visual zones. We coordinated with the Home & Willow team to highlight seasonal styling, best-selling collections, and branded accent areas. A lighting evaluation determined the ideal time of day for natural ambiance, and we scripted a one-shot fly-through path designed to showcase the entire showroom in a single fluid motion.
Filming: Using an indoor drone equipped with a 4K ultra-stabilized camera, we captured multiple passes including slow detail shots over textures, materials, and featured displays. Filming was completed in a single morning to avoid disruption to customers.
Post-Production: We applied color grading to enhance visual fidelity and lighting, added custom music scoring aligned with the Home & Willow brand (relaxing, modern, refined), and included a logo animation fade-in at the closing sequence.
Results
The finished drone tour generated over 15,000 views on YouTube. Instagram teaser reels pulled in over 10,000 views and 500+ likes. The video also serves as a reusable asset for email campaigns and digital sales packets targeting remote clients and builders.
Conclusion
This project demonstrates how a well-executed drone tour can transform the way an interior space is marketed. By aligning the production with Home & Willow's brand identity, Alpha Sky Media turned a physical showroom into a digital experience that attracts, engages, and converts.
